HUETTEL DOMINATES S/S AT CLASH OF TITANS IN SAN ANTONIO
 Kyle Huettel defeated Kenjo Kelley to take the win at the Clash of the Titans race in San Antonio! Huettel was #1 qualifier in Super Street and ran a 4.85 to Kelley's 4.92 in the final round of eliminations.

URIST WINS NMRA SSO AT COLUMBUS
 John Urist took home yet another win in NMRA's SSO class during the Labor Day race at Columbus. Urist smoked Perry Santini in the final round with a 7.52 to a 9.53.

HINZMAN LAYS DOWN 7.38@196.55 ON DRAG RADIALS! 
Dave Hinzman has been putting down some wicked fast passes on Drag Radials. At the August Milan Drag Radial race he posted a 7.38@196.55 pass in the heat! Look for MUCH MORE from Hinzman as they continue to get a handle on that bad boy! Congratulations Dave! |
NEAL RACING TRANSMISSIONS NMRA/NMCA SUPER BOWL WINNERS 
The Bothwell Motorsports Team took home a big win in Pro Outlaw 10.5 during the NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl July 20th. Previously undefeated Conrad Scarry recorded his first loss in eliminations against the Bothwell Team where both cars had to pedal to get down the track. The Garrett Turbocharger powered Mustang also ran a 6.86@208 during the second round of qualifying, fast enough for a new class record! They officially backed it up during the third round of qualifying with a 6.890@207.56 during the third round of qualifying. The Bothwell Motorsports Team now owns the Pro Outlaw 10.5 ET & MPH Records for the class!!! In Super Street Outlaw John Urist took home another win at the Super Bowl. He defeated Samuel Vincent with a 7.531@186.79 to Vincent's losing 7.782@184.37.

LAZZARO WINS OSCA SEASON OPENER IN SUPER STREET 
May 31 Steve Lazzaro captured the win in Super Street with his new car at the OSCA Season Opener at Toronto Motorsports Park. Lazzaro qualified #1 with a 6.85@220, reset both ET and MPH records and broke the competition's backs! Now that's how you do it with a brand new combo! Steve's car uses a Neal Racing Transmissions Pro Glide and a Neal Chance Pro Mod Converter, contrary to what you might read in some "other" transmission builders advertisements. Congrat's Steve on the win and successful debut of the new car!

LUMMUS GOES 4.52@166.81 AT FFW ATLANTA 
Neal Racing Transmissions Customer Ron Lummus and the Bothwell Motorsports/Garrett Turbocharger Team surprised their competitors during the Fun Ford Weekend "Battle of the Brands" race!
Lummus ran multiple passes low in the 4.50's during the race including a impressive 4.52@166.81 during the first round. He went all the way to the semifinals eventually getting shut down by Grant McCrary.
We want to congratulate the entire Bothwell Motorsports Team on their impressive performance at Atlanta, there is no doubt they are making some impressive progress on their combination!

BLACKMON WINS OUTLAW 10.5 AT MACON

HICKMAN SILVER DOLLAR SUPER PRO WINNER 
Neal Racing Transmissions would like to give a shout out to 17 year old Cole Hickman who one his first Super Pro Event May 17th at Silver Dollar Raceway. Cole hasn't been racing long and it's really cool to see him in the winner's circle so soon. Way to go Cole, may this be your first win of many! |
URIST WINS $10,000 WORLD STREET CHALLENGE

John "Fireball" Urist was on his game Sunday May 18th at the World Street Challenge in St. Louis. Urist qualified #1 with a 7.414@189.23 in Street Outlaw which made him the big dog to beat in eliminations.
Urist blasted his way through the pack during eliminations where he meet up with Jarrett Halfacre, the #2 qualifier for the final round. Urist defeated Halfacre in a close race, 7.40@191 vs 7.42@197! Congratulations John! Photo Courtesy Stang TV

LUMMUS GRABS PSCA LAS VEGAS NATIONALS OUTLAW STREET WIN

Ron Lummus driving the Bothwell Motorsports Garrett Turbo Mustang won the first PSCA Las Vegas Nationals in Outlaw Street. Lummus qualified #2 with a 7.379@163.20 then tore through the ladder during eliminations. In the final Lummus faced Zehring, the #1 qualifier, and dispatched him easily with a 7.192@201.31 vs Zehring's 7.642@167.09. This win is an outstanding accomplishment for the Bothwell Motorsports Team considering this is the 3rd race the car has competed in, and the first one since a complete rebuild over the winter months! NEAL REVEALS COMPLETELY REDONE OUTLAW MUSTANG

Keith Neal, owner of Neal Racing Transmissions, revealed his freshly redone Twin Turbo Outlaw 10.5 Mustang at Bradenton for the NMRA Season Opener. Unfortunately the engine management computer had a very rare glitch in it which caused it to break #3 & #8 rods shortly after launch on it's 1st pass of the season. The good news is that they finally found the problem which has been a issue since last year. Keith's busy getting replacement parts and will be burning the midnight oil again getting the car ready for the next race. URIST WINS SSO DURING NMRA BRADENTON SEASON OPENER

John Urist started out the 2008 season with a big first win at the Bradenton NMRA Season Opener. Urist surprised his competition with a brand new car and wasted no time in getting it working on the money! The three time NMRA SSO Champion defeated Richard Lelsz with a holeshot and a clear victory 7.573 to the losing 7.610 of Lelsz's. Congratulations John on your first win of the season! SHANNON WREN - FIRST TO 200 MPH IN DRAG RADIAL

March 2nd at the Memphis Mid South Shootout Shannon Wren broke the 200 mph record in Drag Radial! Wren went 7.418@200.83 in qualifying cementing himself in the top spot. He beat some quick competition during semifinals and defeated Tommy Brewer in the final round for the win. Congratulations on being the first to 200 and your win Shannon! ANDERSON WINS DYNOMAX 25K POWER TO THE WHEELS TOUR

Brian Anderson won the 2007 Dynomax Dyno Power to the Wheels Shootout during the 2007 SEMA show and came home with a huge $25,000 paycheck for his efforts! FISCUS SWITCHES TO NEAL RACING TRANSMISSIONS FOR 2008 SEASON

NMRA Drag Radial Racer Kevin Fiscus has made the switch from Brand X to Neal Racing Transmissions and Neal Chance Racing Converters in preparation for the 2008 Racing Season.
Kevin got his new combo installed in time to capture the #1 qualifier position at Orlando last year which shows he's ready to put the hurt to the competition in the upcoming race season. Fiscus will be joining other Neal Racing Transmission customers in a bid to dominate several NMRA classes this year.
