TDRL TUFF STREET RECORD BROKEN BY STRYCH9 RACING

Trevor StriplingTrevor Stripling and the Strych9 Racing Team have launched their racing season right into the record books at the Texas Drag Racing League's "Drag Wars" season opener.

Stripling, competing in the Tuff Street Class, got everyone's attention right away when he blasted out a record setting 5.160@143.36 pass in qualifying - resetting the class record and putting him in the #1 seat.

They then proceeded to pick up the pace on every pass during eliminations. First a 5.092@143.63, then a 5.050@143.40 and followed up in the semifinals with a 5.074@143.22. Regrettably during Pro Outlaw Competition, Todd Moyer lost his ADRL XTF Firebird in a serious wreck, which ended the race day early and the final round in Tuff Street was unable to be completed.

You can be certain though that Strych9 Racing has all their competitors worrying how they are going to catch him before the next race!

NEAL WINS PRO OUTLAW 10.5 AT NMRA BRADENTON

Keith Neal Wins NMRA Bradento Pro Outlaw 10.5Neal Racing Transmissions owner Keith Neal shook off last years bad luck and went straight as an arrow to the winners circle at the NMRA Season Opener in Bradenton, Florida March 8th.

Keith is still wearing a big grin after taking home the winners check to Georgia, and it's an accomplishment to be proud of considering he just got the car back together and had only been out testing the day before the race.

Neal and Crew Chief Rick Irwin dialed in a conservative game plan for the Bradenton Race and it worked. With the big twin Garrett's set at only 28 lbs of boost, the brand new John Urist built engine still pushed the car to 7.20@208! Watch out when they turn that bad boy up!

Neal found some luck that he thought he had lost in the semi-final round where he defeated Mike Murrillo in a double red light .013 for Keith, and .015 for Mike, letting him cruise right into the final round against Ruben Tetsoshvili. The final was his for certain when Ruben smoked the tires at launch putting him in no position to catch Neal - 7.281@199.37 to Ruben's 9.20@147.34.

Keith Neal Racing would like to thank his sponsors for their strong continued support; Garrett Turbochargers , Mickey Thompson Racing Tires, KnKut Drill Bits, AMSOIL Dealer Superior Performance, Straightline Chassis & Neal Chance Racing Converters

Way to go Boss!!!

FISCUS RESPONSIBLE FOR GLOBAL WARMING...

FISCUS RESETS DRAG RADIAL RECORD RECORD

It may be cold in most of the country but this weekend it got RED HOT at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Headliner Kevin Fiscus was there testing his Drag Radial Mustang with a few changes made after the recent Bradenton US Nationals.

The updates worked really well as Fiscus as he laid down TWO 6 second passes making him the fastest turbo small block and THE fastest 1/8 mile bar none!

Kevin's incrementals from his second pass were;

60'   1.227
330' 3.127
660' 4.609@164.97
1000' 5.879
1320 6.949@216.76

Just how fast will this Drag Radial car go? Stay tuned as we're certain there's a lot more where that came from!

Big Atta Boy from everyone here at Neal Racing Transmissions to Kevin and crew!

NRT NEWS FROM DOWN UNDER

Rob Campisi Rob Campisi took another trip to the winners circle at the recent Australia Day Event on January 25th.

Rob put his twin turbo small block Ford in the winners circle in Pro Street Blown class.

Johnny WilsonJohnny Wilson also made a trip to the winners circle after working over the competition in Modified Pro Street. Not only did he win his class, but he also reset the class record with a 7.98@175!

Congratulations Rob and Johnny! Good to hear from you guys...

FISCUS RUNNERS UP AT BRADENTON - MORE TO COME!

FISCUS RESETS DRAG RADIAL RECORD RECORDKevin Fiscus is out with both twins singing! At the recent US Nationals race in Bradenton Florida he started out the race by qualifying #1 with a 4.681@166.23.

During eliminations there appeared to be a rash of red lights for some unknown reason, causing just concern among many racers.

Kevin even went -.053 red in the 3rd round when he had a bye and he was even trying to cut a slow light. With that red light on his mind, understandably in the final round against Cory Berry he wanted to play it as safe as possible. He ended up playing it too safe and let Berry out early with a .358 light. Even his record breaking pass of 4.66@164.86 wasn't enough to catch Berry who ran a 4.95.

Everyone at Neal Racing Transmissions congratulates Kevin on his R/U and strong performance. We all know just how bad that car is and we can't wait to see the years events unfold!
